Schaumann will soon release OviLac WA, its new feed supplement for drinking water application in broilers and pigs.

OviLac WA is able to form a bio film to protect the intestinal mucous membrane, preventing or reducing potential pathogen colonisation in the intestine. OviLac WA uses metabolism-stabilising vitamins, and will also help to improve the absorption capacity and reduce acid-labile germs by locally lowering the pH value in the intestine.

As a result, using OviLac WA could lead to improved weight gain, feed consumption and feed efficiency. The animals will also be less susceptible to stress, and will have increased resistance to infectious diseases. That in turn, will help farmers reduce losses and gain more healthy animals.

According to feed trials, using OviLac Wa could help farmers reduce costs by EUR100/100 broilers.
