Nuscience Group appoints new Group Marketing Manager

Nuscience has appointed Jan-Jeroen De Beucker (pictured, right) as Group Marketing Manager for the organisation's two business units, Nutrition4U and Health4U.

De Beucker joined Nuscience at its headquarters in Belgium in February 2014 as Business Development Manager (Asia) for the Health4U range.

"With Jan-Jeroen heading our Marketing Department, we are capitalising on his key strength for our company," Johan De Schepper, CEO of Nuscience, said. "Jan-Jeroen has over 20 years of experience in executive positions for leading companies such as Cid Lines, Impextraco and Kemin; and he has a broad network in the global animal industry."

"In a world soon to be populated by over nine billion people - and with a strong and expanding global group like Nuscience, it is more than exciting to lead the marketing activities for our science-based practical solutions in nutrition and health," De Beucker remarked. "We are globally marketing innovative and effective young animal nutrition concepts like Porcito®, next to our patented flagship product, Aromabiotic® MCFA, which has proven to be a natural alternative to antimicrobial growth promoters (AGPs) and overcoming antimicrobial resistance. It all fits perfectly within our marketing strategy of embracing challenges, creating changes and providing care for people and animals."

Han van der Broek replaced De Beucker to continue developing the Asian market for the Health4U range.

Van der Broek holds a Master's degree in animal nutrition from the University of Wageningen, The Netherlands, and brings a wealth of experience to his position, having lived in Asia while working for companies such as Kemin and Kemira.
