Russia's January meat output up 6.9% on year
The Federal Sate Statistics Service said in a report Wednesday (Feb 15) that Russia's January meat and meat product output rose 6.9% on the year to 87,800 tonnes.
Russia's poultry and poultry product output increased 16.6% on the year to 262,000 tonnes in this period, while the output of fish and fish products was flat on the year at 272,000 tonnes.
Russia's meat output rose 8.5% in 2011 to three million tonnes, the service said earlier.
