ADM acquires Solae's global soy isoflavone business

 

Archer Daniels Midland Company has acquired The Solae Company's global soy isoflavone business, which includes an extensive portfolio of US patents, numerous foreign equivalents, and pending applications. As part of the acquisition, Solae will exit the soy isoflavone business, leavinv the supply of Novasoy(R) soy isoflavones to ADM.

 

"Through this acquisition, ADM will build on its existing intellectual property portfolio with the soy isoflavone patent estate purchased from Solae, which also includes patent rights owned by Novogen Limited that are now licensed to ADM," stated Steven Furcich, President-ADM Natural Health & Nutrition. "We look forward to continuing to provide our customers as well as Solae's former customers with the highest levels of product quality, product technical support and customer service."
