Ukraine's January agricultural products output rises 0.5%

Ukraine's total output of agricultural commodities rose by 0.5% last month compared with the same period of 2011, including agricultural enterprises - up 2.2%, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

Agrarian enterprises increased the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 32% compared to the same period of 2011, including plant growing products - up 71%.

In January, the average selling prices of Ukrainian agricultural products of agrarian enterprises increased by 7% compared to the same period of 2011, including plant growing products - down 8%.

In January 2012, the index of average selling prices of agricultural products reduced by 2% compared to December 2011, including plant growing products - down 1%.
