Novus appoints nutritionist for South East Asia Pacific

Press Release

Novus International (Thailand) has announced the appointment of Kitima Jindamongkon as nutritionist for South East Asia Pacific, based in Bangkok Thailand.

She received her Bachelor of Science from Thammasat University following with a Masters majoring in poultry nutrition from Kasetsart University.  Her tertiary qualifications are supported by nine years of relevant industry experience, with six years as nutritionist for Sun Feed, a major Thai poultry integrator, where she formulated feed including broilers, breeders, layers, ducks and swine.

In addition to her extensive feed formulation skills, Kitima also has experience in the effect of processing temperature on animal performance, farm management (ventilation, water, biosecurity and light management) and meat quality.  Her relevant industry experience and practical knowledge will be vital in her new role supporting Novus customers by providing "Health through Nutrition" solutions with their growing range of animal health and nutritional programmes and products.

Novus offers extensive technical expertise and many of the products needed to support profitable and sustainable production.  "A good example of Novus providing relevant solutions for our customers is strategies to reduce feed costs", she said.  "With rising prices of raw materials, Kitima sees an important role for Novus's heat stable, broad spectrum bacterial derived protease enzyme Cibenza® DP100 to reduce diet costs.  My experience has been that using Cibenza DP100 allows significant cost savings by improving the protein digestion (amino acid availability), without compromising animal performance.  Using Cibenza DP100 also allows producers to use a wider variety of cost-effective proteins, while maintaining the performance levels associated with more expensive feed ingredients."
