Wild pigs bring pseudorabies in Nebraska

Wild pigs have tested positive for pseudorabies, a swine disease that can devastate pork operations in central Nebraska, the Nebraska Department of Agriculture said.

The department would now contact pork producers in the surroundings to alert them of the situation and suggest preventative measures.

Nebraska is one of the most important pig producing states in the US.
