PetroVietnam Fertiliser's 2011 net income soars 84.7%

PetroVietnam Fertiliser and Chemical Corporation (DPM) reported that its 2011 consolidated net profit leaped 84.7% on-year to VND3.14 trillion (US$200 million).

Revenues soared 39.4% on year to VND9.23 trillion (US$400 million) in 2011, DPM said in its unaudited consolidated quarterly financial report.

The full-year earnings per share was VND8, 287 (US$0.40), compared to VND4, 499 (US$0.22) in 2010.

In the fourth quarter, DPM earned a net profit of VND848.22 billion (US$41 million) on revenues of VND2.38 trillion (US$100 million), up 76.3% and 23.3% on-year, respectively.

Its total assets rose 26.3% from end-2010 to VND9.37 trillion (US$400 million), including equity of VND8.3 trillion (US$400 million) at end-2011.
