Giant Food appoints new vice president of meat
 

Carlisle, Pennsylvania-based Giant Food Stores has announced its appointment of Chris Kukay as the vice president of meat.
 

As vice president of meat, Kukay will manage all aspects of meat sales, profitability, earnings and images.

Kukay has recently led a special store format project team for Massachusetts-based Stop & Shop Supermarkets.

Giant operates stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia under the Giant Food Stores, Martin's Food Markets and FoodSource banners. It is a subsidiary of Netherlands-based Royal Ahold.
