Avian Technology offers Val-Co automated nest and egg collection systems
Val-Co Systems, which handle breeder eggs, is now being offered by Avian Technology to clients across South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
Val-Co's ergonomically designed egg collection tables have a large gathering area with controls for variable belt speed. Producers can choose either 8-inch center or 4-inch side belt models.
The center belt automated nest has a coated bottom and gradual slope for gentle egg rollout to prevent cracks and checks. Hinged perches provide easy closeout. A unique anti-roost guard prevents roosting.
The side belt automated nest has hinged closeout lids to restrict access and an anti-roost guard with folded edges. Molded plastic bottoms are contoured to fit the natural shape of the hen and are available with turf or finger pads.
