Russia may cancel import duties on grains

The zero customs duty on grain imports to the country may be imposed by Russia in the near future.

This was declared by Arkady Dvorkovich, Prime Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, on February 11.

At the same time, he declined to give more accurate date of entry into force of the Government's decision, saying only that it may happen in the first quarter of the current year.

As a reminder, to date in Russia the import duty on grains totals 5%.
