Nebraska beef council teams with industry players to promote producer appreciation

The Nebraska Beef Council has teamed with Behlen Country, Elanco and Land O Lakes Purina Feed to promote the ''Beef Producer Appreciation Giveaway''.

The grand prize winner will bag fifteen (15) portable panels from Behlen Country and two runners-up will win one US$1,000 product certificate from Elanco or Land O Lakes Purina Feed.

These efforts are aimed not only to show appreciation to Nebraska farmers, but also to build a database that would enable the Nebraska Beef Council to conduct elections for the board of directors more effectively and communicate checkoff programmes to producers.

Nebraska beef producers have been encouraged to register with the Nebraska Beef Council or with Big Valley Behlen Country booths to qualify for the draw.
