Noble Group names new asia pacific director to drive grain business

Noble Group Limited announced the appointment of Thomas Daetwyler as Regional Director Grain Asia Pacific.
In this capacity, Mr. Daetwyler will manage Noble's grain and oilseeds operations across Asia including China, India, South East Asia and the Middle East. The Group's expanding Grain division also includes crushing plants and storage facilities in China, India and the Middle East and port facilities in South America.
Mr. Daetwyler joined Noble in August 2004 and was previously Managing Director for Grain in Brazil and China.
"He brings over 30 years' experience in grain and oilseeds origination, processing and physical trading" said Noble Head of Grain Diego Barbero. "Thomas has a strong track record and most importantly the know-how to get things done. Under his leadership we will continue to capture synergies and develop new opportunities across the region", he added.
