China's lysine imports rebound in December
China imported 276 tonnes of lysine in December, 2010, a marked increase of 38-fold from seven tonnes in November, though the overall shipments remained at historically low levels.
December's lysine imports were worth US$692,400, with the average import price at US$2.51/kg, which was drastically lower than US$23.48/kg in the previous month.
China imported a total of 7,626 tonnes of lysine in 2010.
