Nutreco amalgamates its Agriculture and Specialities branch

Nutreco, the animal feed company, will merge its divisions Agriculture and Specialities to a single new division, Animal Nutrition, in order to improve profits and impart knowledge among the two branches.

Jerry Vergeer, Executive Vice-President of the Agriculture division is named Chief Operating Officer Animal Nutrition. Frank Tielens, Executive Vice-President of the division Specialties and member of the Board Of Directors will resign from March 1, 2011.

From March 1, the Board of Director from Nutreco will be Wout Dekker (Chief Executive Officer), Cees van Rijn (Chief Financial Officer), Jerry Vergeer (Chief Operating Officer Animal Nutrition) and Knut Nesse (Chief Operating Officer Aquaculture).
