North Carolina firm recalls pork barbeque product

 
 

The Murphy House, a Louisburg, North Carolina-based company has recalled its pork barbeque product.

 

The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that the products may contain soy flour, an undeclared allergen. The recall involves 2,850 pounds of the product. FSIS has received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

 

The products include 5 pound containers of "The Murphy House Premium Pork Barbeque; cooked, unskinned, pork with barbeque sauce added". Each package bears the establishment number "EST. 2135" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The pork barbeque products were sent to distributors and restaurants in the North Carolina region.
