EU traders bid to export 552,500 tons of French wheat

Traders bid to export 552,500 metric tons of French wheat and 236,400 tons of French barley at Thursday's European Union free-market export refund tender, according to French grains board ONIC.

The bids for wheat ranged between EUR2.97/ton and EUR14.49/ton, while the barley bids were between EUR13.48/ton and EUR22.35/ton.

The Grains Management Committee will vote on export refunds later Thursday.
