Methionine prices consolidate lower in China
Prices of methionine were stable to lower during the week ending February 5.
Demand dwindled as more feed millers halted production towards end of the week in preparation for the Chinese New Year celebration. Eager to clinch deals, several traders and suppliers negotiated prices.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were in the range of RMB31.50-33/kg.
