Jefo Nutrition to launch new additive in VIV Asia

Press Release

Jefo Nutrition will introduce AG 175, a new feed additive with a strong and stable proteolytic activity, during VIV Asia in Bangkok, March 11-13, 2009.

After many years of research in many countries, the product will be launched in Asia where more than 80 percent of the world aquaculture production takes place.

AG 175 is used to optimise the protein and amino acid part of feed formulas in all fish species and crustacean, allowing the reduction of fishmeal and the increase of other protein sources while maintaining optimum performance.

Jefo Nutrition will be at the Aqua Pavilion at VIV Asia in March where Dr. Robert Gauthier, Jefo Nutrition R&D director, will be speaking on the use of a stable protease enzyme in aquaculture or how to reduce feed cost and improve performance in high protein diets for fishes and crustacean.

Canada's Jefo Nutrition is a fast-growing company in the field of non-medicated feed additives, providing alternatives to antibiotic growth promoters.
