Soy products manufacturer begins operations in China's Dalian
Production has began at north-eastern China's largest soybean product processing base last week.
The base in Dalian Development Zone was funded by Dalian Sanshui Food Company, and built at a cost of RMB5 million (US$645,000).
More than ten types of soybean products would be produced at the base, including bean curd, bean milk and dried bean curd. Dramatic changes are expected in Dalian City's soybean production with the opening of the new base, as only small-scale plants operated in the city previously.
