Ukraine's 2012 grain harvest could be 42.6 million tonnes in bunker weight, almost 25% down on 2011, according to report from ProAgro.

The report says that the forecast takes into account data on sowed winter crops for the 2012 harvest, weather and possible fields for resowing in spring.

The company said that this year Ukraine could harvest 14.6 million tonnes of wheat, which is 35% down on 2011, eight million tonnes of barley (12% down), 420,000 tonnes of rye (28% decline), and 17.7 million tonnes of corn (22.4% fall).
