Nedap has changed the name of its business unit to Nedap Livestock Management, and has changed its website to www.nedap-livestockmanagement.com correspondingly, representing its role as an active player in the livestock segment of the agricultural sector.

This follows the launch of Nedap's new corporate identity in 2011 as the manufacturer of intelligent solutions for relevant themes.

The company recognises the challenges the sector is facing: the urgency to grow in a controlled manner which ensures that the balance between work, profit and welfare is considered at all times.  It provides technological solutions which are based on electronic individual animal identification to facilitate individual animal care and monitoring of production and health in a controlled manner.
