Bunge manufactures 500,000 tonnes of soy by-product in Vietnam
Bunge's subsidiary in Vietnam has produced 500,000 tonnes of soy by-product over last seven months.
The company provides its products to local animal feed processing plants and oil producers as well as for exports to South Korea and Malaysia.
The products were made in its plant located in Ba Rai -Vung Tau province's Phu My One Port Complex which was built at costs US$100 million and started operational in late June last year.
The plant can produce 200,000 tonnes of cooking oil and 800,000 tonnes of soy by-products annually.
The American conglomerate Bunge has become the biggest provider of material for animal feed production in Vietnam since 2002.
