USDA says 110,000 MT of corn sold to Japan in 2004-05

 

Private exporters reported to the US Department of Agriculture export sales of 110,000 metric tons of corn for delivery to Japan during the 2004-05 marketing year, according to the USDA.

 

The 2004-05 marketing year for wheat began June 1.

 

US exporters are required to report to the USDA sales of 100,000 tons or more of any commodity made in the same day to the same destination by 3 p.m. EST (2000 GMT) the next business day, according to the USDA's Foreign Agriculture Service. Any export sales under 100,000 tons must be reported on a weekly basis.
