Degussa publishes customer magazine AminoNews™ - third edition in 2005

The Feed Additives Business Unit of Degussa AG, Dusseldorf, has published the third edition in 2005 of its customer magazine AminoNews™ for the compound feed industry.

Dr José Perez's contribution: 'Dosing and Handling of Solid versus Liquid Additives. Do we get the same results?' discusses a topic that is often underestimated in its consequences. The article provides a closer look at the technical details and its impact on practical feed production.

Two other articles are: 

• Nutritional value of wheat shorts for pigs. A case for using advanced methods to estimate the bio-available nutrient content of feedstuffs, by Dr C.F.M. de Lange
   
• Interactions between intestinal bacteria and amino acid nutrition in broiler chickens, by Murray Drew, David Maenz and Andrew van Kessel 

Featuring as 'Research Highlights', the magazine also reports on current developments and latest scientific publications on amino acids for animal nutrition.
