Keystone Foods appoints Frank M. Ravndal Jr.  as new CEO

Marfrig Group announces the appointment of Frank M. Ravndal Jr. as the new incoming CEO of Keystone Foods.

 

Frank Ravndal will lead 13,000 employees working in the over 17 production and research and development units of Keystone Foods in North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Latin America. He will report to Sergio Rial, the CEO of Seara Foods, which is the business segment of the Marfrig Group, one of the largest global producers of food products made from poultry, beef, pork, lamb and fish, as well as pastas, margarines, ready-to-eat meals, frozen vegetables and desserts. It is formed by the companies Seara Alimentos, Moy Park and Keystone Foods.

Frank Ravndal has 17 years of experience in various positions at Cargill, Inc. Most recently, he serves as CEO of its Thermal Energy Supply Chain which required him to work in 12 countries. Formerly, he served as CEO of Cargill North America Power and Gas and Cargill Americas Grain and Oilseeds Crush Businesses.


Prior to joining Cargill, Inc., Frank has worked in the financial industry in Venezuela.


Frank Ravndal will take the helm of Keystone Foods on February 17, replacing Willian Andersen who held the position on a temporary basis.
