Vietnamese food firm signs pork deal with Toyota Food

 

 

Dong Nai Food Processing Factory (D&F) under the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (Donataba) has inked a deal with Japanese Toyota Food to supply safe pork products.

 

D&F acting director Nguyen Tuan Phuong said that the company will provide safe meat according to Japanese standards, but did not reveal the deal value and the export volume.

 

D&F with initial investment of VND100 billion is designed to slaughter 2,000 poultry and 100 pigs, process 2 tonnes of food and produce 30 kinds of food daily.

 

Donataba is the biggest animal rearing company in southeastern Vietnam. It will offer 15,000 pigs to domestic markets this Lunar New Year, Tet, holiday, including 10,000 pigs for Ho Chi Minh City and 5,000 for Dong Nai province.
