Vitamin A price stable in China despite slower demand

Prices were stable to lower to fall over the past few weeks.

The sales of vitamin A slowed towards end of the month as most large-scale buyers have accumulated substantial inventories. However, most producers who were producing to fulfil concluded orders held prices stable although a handful of them gave slight discounts to clear inventories.

Price quotes of locally produced vitamin A were at RMB106-111/kg

As most feed millers will be halting operation soon, demand for vitamin A is expected to be flat.
