Brazil aims to regain entry into EU beef market in 60-90 days

The Brazilian government announced to work on resuming beef exports to the EU in 60 to 90 days, Estado reported, citing Agriculture Minister Reinhold Stephanes.

Brazil's government said it will find a solution to the suspension of Brazilian beef exports without resorting to the World Trade Organization.

The EU, which bought a quarter of Brazil's beef shipments last year, said the restrictions followed the Brazil's failure to ensure meat safety.
