Japan's Agriculture Ministry to seek 113,000 MT wheat in tender

 

Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will seek 113,000 metric tons of milling wheat in a buy tender to be held Thursday, an official said Tuesday.

 

MAFF will buy 73,000 tons of US wheat, 20,000 tons of Canadian wheat and 20,000 tons of Australian wheat, all to be shipped April 1-30, the official said.

 

MAFF will also buy 20,000 tons of food barley from Australia, to be shipped between March 11 and April 10, the official said.
