Prices of dressed chicken to rise in Malaysian state

The price of dressed chicken in the Sarawak will increase by 50 sen per kg from Tuesday, according to the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry in the Malaysian state.

The new ceiling price following the price increase stands at RM 6.60 per kg in the city and Kota Samarahan, RM 6.80 per kg in Sibu and RM 7 per kg in Miri.

The current ceiling price, fixed on Jan 5 1998, is RM 6.10 per kg in the city and Kota Samarahan, RM 6.30 per kg in Sibu and RM 6.50 per kg in Miri.
