New Zealand sells dairy farms to Swedish investors
A New Zealand billionaire businessman, Graeme Hart, has sold eight Waikato dairy farms to Swedish investors.
Southern Pastures Partnership (99% owned by an unnamed Swedish institutional investor) closed the deal with Hart's Carter Holt Harvey HBU and Rank Group Property Investment companies in December, after obtaining Overseas Investment Office (OIO) approval.
