JBS actualises acquisition of Independencia assets

The acquisition of Independencia International's assets was completed by the world's largest protein company, JBS S.A.
The acquisition includes four beef processing plants in Nova Andradina, Campo Grande, Senador Canedo and rolim de Moura; two hide-processing facilities and two storages and distribution centres in Cajamar and Santos.
JBS paid for the facilities through the transfer of 22,987,331 common shares of the company's stock. The company's board of directors approved the transaction on January 30.
