Russia procures 14,850 tonnes milling wheat on intervention tender
Russia bought 14,850 tonnes of grain including 12,150 tonnes and 2,700 tonnes of 3rd and 4th milling grade of wheat respectively at the fourth intervention tender on January 31.
Russian government intends to buy in the current marketing year 1.4-1.5 million tonnes of intervention grain from farmers in Siberia and the Urals.
The farmers will be able to buy the grain back from the government later if market prices rise.
