Combilift introduces new forklift for live poultry handling
Customised forklift manufacturer Combilift, has debuted its COMBI-LR at the 2010 International Poultry Show in Atlanta.
The COMBI-LR is a highly maneuverable forklift that provides the solution to the poultry industry's live receiving handling problems, according to Combilift.
The machine has no complicated electronics and is both operator- and maintenance-friendly. Designed to provide a practical handling solution for the poultry industry, the COMBI-LR has many elements including,
-
increased visibility as the offset driving position gives a good view of poultry cages when compared to a conventional forklift;
-
reduced maintenance costs because the Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic system means no mechanical transmission, brakes to adjust or replace and helps to reduce maintenance costs;
-
minimised tire spin with an all wheel fully hydrostatic drive system; and,
-
a small turning radius and the ability to operate indoors and outdoors.
Located in Monaghan, Ireland, the Combilift Company specialises in creating long-load material handling solutions. Combilift products can be found in over 50 markets worldwide.
