Thailand bird flu under control
 

The bird flu outbreaks in Phichit and Nakhon Sawan provinces have been contained.

According to Livestock Development Department Director General Sakchai Sriboonsue, the bird flu outbreak will not affect Thailand's cooked poultry exports to foreign markets, but it may delay current negotiations with Japan to resume exports of fresh chicken.
