Venezuela to buy 4,500 tonnes milk from Uruguay
Following an agreement between the two governments, Venezuela is to import 4,500 tonnes of milk powder monthly from Uruguay.
The accord, worth around US$16 million per month, based on prices averaging around US$4 000/tonne, was negotiated during a recent visit to Caracas by Uruguay's president José Mujica.
