China's methionine imports decline in December
China's methionine imports in December registered 7,952 tonnes, down by 1,100 tonnes from November's.
Average import price in December was US$2.83/kg, up by US$0.13/kg compared with the previous month.
Japan (2,993 tonnes), Belgium (2,720 tonnes) and the US (1,800 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during the month in review.
