Taiwan's aquatic products partake in China's Shanghai festival

Taiwan will join Shanghai Municipality's Spring Festival markets for the first time on January 25 to showcase its share of high-grade marine products.

The Shanghai Fisheries Trade Association said that the fair will present various types of Taiwanese high-grade aquatic products and deep-processed products such as sailfish, milkfish, cuttlefish, Taiwan sparid and cobia.

According to the association, the annual distribution volume of Shanghai's aquatic products reaches around 1.2 million tonnes, with the local consumption nearing 700,000 tonnes.
