China's methionine import volume increases in December
China's methionine imports registered 7,736.23 tonnes in December, up over 1,500 tonnes from November.
Average import price in December was US$5.67/kg, up by US$0.13/kg compared with the previous month.
Belgium (3,100 tonnes), Japan (3,046 tonnes) and France (1,240.23 tonnes) were the three largest exporters of methionine to China during the month in review.
