Lohmann enters Italian poultry market
Lohmann Animal Health has entered the Italian poultry market, having secured the registration of the important salmonella vaccines, AviPro Salmonella Vac E and T.
The launch was marked by a seminar near Bologna in northern Italy, attended by specialist poultry vets and major Italian poultry companies. Presentations were made by senior Lohmann staff.
This included an update on legislation and the prevalence of salmonella in the EU and new data on the cross-protection conferred by AviPro Salmonella Vac E against S. Gallinarum.
