Perdue recalls chicken products due to undeclared allergen
 

Perdue Farms Inc is recalling about 24,710 pounds of chicken products as they may contain an undeclared allergen.

The company discovered the problem, and the undeclared allergen is milk, which is a known allergen.

The chicken products were produced on January 19, 2008, and were distributed to retail establishments in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

FSIS has so far received no reports of illness due to consumption of these products.
