China anticipates dairy market to grow 15 to 20 percent

China projects that in the next five to ten years, the dairy development growth rate will be at 15 to 20 percent on improved per capita consumption.

The 2008 China Dairy Development Summit said that the market demand structure will change significantly.

Experts said that the low-quality and low-efficiency cows and outdated cow breeding farming households will be eradicated due to stronger competition in the market. This, experts said, will be beneficial in the overall improvement of the dairy industry.
