Milk production in China's Henan province jumped 50.2% in 2004

In 2004, meat production in Henan, China totaled 6.43 million tons, rising 6.5% over the previous year. Milk production in the province continued to grow steadily, jumping 50.2% to record 745,000 tons in 2004. Poultry egg production increased 6.5% to stand at 3.474 million tons, while the output of aquatic products totaled 422,000 million tons, representing a rise of 8.3% compared with 2003.
