Beef shortage looms in Russia
Russia is expected to face a beef shortage supply in coming years, Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev told reporters Friday (January 23), ITAR-TASS reported.
Russia already relies on imported beef to meet domestic demand, with imports coming from South America and countries such as Australia and New Zealand.
Gordeyev also said that Russia was interested in increasing beef imports from Mongolia.
