No new bird flu outbreaks reported in northern, southern localities of Vietnam
In Vietnam, no new bird flu outbreaks have occurred in the Mekong delta provinces of Hau Giang and Dong Thap, southern Binh Phuoc province, southernmost Ca Mau province, and northern Ha Nam province during the past two weeks.
Bird flu has broken out in 274 communes of 102 districts in 25 provinces and cities so far this year, including four northern provinces and 21 southern provinces.
A total of 200,000 chickens, 210,600 ducks and geese, and 292,000 quails have been culled.
