BASF launches Natuphos 5000 Combi G at IPE 2012

BASF launches its new enzyme combination Natuphos 5000 Combi G for poultry during this year's International Poultry Expo (IPE) 2012, which is held from January 24-26.

A combination of animal feed enzyme, Natuphos comes in granulate form. It is a phytase designed to improve utilisation of phosphorus from plant-based feeds, thereby cutting down on the use of inorganic phosphorus in feed. Combining enzymes with organic acids is an emerging concept which helps to optimise the gut microflora in poultry.

The new product unifies the enzymes 3-phytase, beta-xylanase and beta-glucanase in a stable formulation well-suited for premixes and pelleting.
