China imported 10,526 MT of methionine in December 2004

According to China's General Administration of Customs, China imported 10,526 metric tons of methionine in December 2004, up by 5,071 metric tons or 93% from November. In the month of December, China mainly imported methionine from Belgium, Japan, Germany and the United States.

From January to December 2004, China's accumulative methionine imports totaled 85,817 metric tons, up by 12,949 metric tons compared with the same period last year.
