BioMar moves hatchery feed range production to France
The production of BioMar's hatchery feed range LARVIVA has moved from Denmark to the BioMar factory in Nersac, France, in order to benefit hatcheries in the Mediterranean area.
The move will offer improved logistic services and a closer dialogue between customers and BioMar product development.
By moving closer to the company's most important markets, the distance from the production site to the Mediterranean hatcheries has been reduced significantly, said LARVIVA Product Manager Marleen Dehasque.
This will result in better product availability, shorter lead time and increased flexibility, said Dehasque.
Also by combining the live feed solutions, weaning and nursery diets in the LARVIVA range with the fry feed in the INICIO Plus range, BioMar can cover all feed needs in the hatcheries in one single delivery, Dehasque added.
BioMar is also reinforcing its Sales & Technical Support team in the Mediterranean area, as it focuses on expanding its market access and technical knowledge across the Mediterranean area.
