Indonesian corn output pegged at 6.5 million tons
The 2004-05 corn harvest in Indonesia is expected to total 6.5 million tons, up from the 6.35 million tons seen last season and initial projections of a 6.3 million ton crop.
The U.S. agricultural attache for the country says the increase reflects slightly higher yields and a modest increase in planted area from 3.2 million to 3.3 million hectares.
